WAUPACA COUNTY NEWS October 12, 1922 GLOVER BUYS BUILDING On Tuesday of this week Louis Glover purchased of Herman Nelson the brick building located at 114 Union Street, and now occupied by the Western Union Telegraph Company and by Herman Nelson. As soon as arrangements can be made in regard to leases, Mr. Glover will move his hardware and harness business into his property, and at the same time greatly increase his stock. BUYS RESIDENCE Martin Anderson of the Badger Auto Sales Company, this week purchased the property at 415 South Division street from John Mefer of Davenport, Iowa, and will take possession of same at once. The property on Ninth street that has been occupied by Mr. Anderson will be occupied by Wm. Toepke, retiring sheriff of Waupaca county. NEW STORE OPENS Waupaca’s new grocery store opened today. It is a chain store, the company opening it being the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. A.W. Lutke of Merrill is the manager, and he has already moved his family to this city. |
