THE “OLD RELIABLE” HARNESS SHOP BOUGHT BY FRED C. ANDERSON

Negotiations were completed Tuesday whereby Fred C. Anderson became proprietor of the “Old Reliable” harness shop from the F.E. Lund estate. The former owner, the late F.E. Lund, at the time of his death, claimed the distinction of having been engaged in business in Waupaca longer than any other resident of Waupaca, having purchased the shop of Mr. Timme in the early seventies.

Mr. Anderson, the new owner, became associated in the business at the “Old Reliable” in 1884, and for a good portion of this thirty-six years’ connection with the business, has been shop foreman and sales manager.  This assures the public that the business will be conducted in the same highly efficient business methods that have contributed to its popularity and success in the past.

As an appreciation of the loyal patronage, Mr. Anderson has decided to mark the change of firm name by making a real bargain sale of harness, making reductions of $15.00 per set, as may be learned by a study of his advertisement on another page of this issue of the County Post.
