CURLERES ARE NOW BUSY

TEAMS NOW ORGANIZED AND PLAYING STARTED MONDAY

 

            The curling rink in the court house yard was completed on Monday, and the first curling event of the season was held the same day, with a score as follows:

                        Holst vs. Knutson, 14 to 5

                        Jardine vs. Johnson, 17 to 6

            On Tuesday games were played with the following result:

                        Fallgatter vs. Holly, 15 to 12

                        Larson vs. Nelson, 14 to 11

            The games played on Wednesday evening between Scott and Fallgatter resulted in a score of 17 to 6.

            The different teams that will anticipate in the season’s games are as follows:

                        Team 1 – Peter Holst, Skip; Frank Stratton, Alfred Mortenson and H.J. Lewis.

                        Team 2 – W.J. Nelson, Skip; Irving Hanson, Paul Williams and A.C. Barry.

                        Team 3 – J.F. Jardine, Skip; Wm. Rasmussen, E.G. Lange and J.C. Hart.

                        Team 4 – M.B. Scott, Skip; C. Cristy, Wm. Toepke and Chas. Pler.

                        Team 5 – O. Larson, Skip; Chas. Larson, Fred Larson and Reed McLean.

                        Team 6 – Knutson, Skip; L.A. Olson, Chas. McLean and A.G. Dusold.

                        Team 7 – A.W. Spindt, Skip; L.I. Yorkson, R. Nelson and A. Hanson.

                        Team 8 – W. Fallgatter, Skip; Sam Taylor, Roy Luther and Dr. Chandler.

                        Team 9 – S.W. Johnson, Skip; Fred Fisher, Dr. A.M. Christofferson and Walter Fox.

                        Team 10 – Roy Holly, Skip; L.D. Smith, Guy Mumbrue and C.R. Hoffman.

            This schedule of games for the season is not yet completed, but will be announced within the next few days.
