ELKS CHALLENGE KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS TEAM

EIGHT TEAMS STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN

 

            We understand Knut sent back the oversized hats he got for his rink.  Smith is to blame.

            They say that boy Fox is some ship, but Fallgatter won’t admit it.

            The last seen of Murphy after the Smith game, he was headed south with his suitcase under his arm.

            A rink made up of Elks has challenged a Knights of Pythias rink to a game, the defeated rink to buy a feed for the eight. According to latest reports there’s a lot of money up on the result.

            Smith says that the guy who arranged the schedule should be kicked off the club.  Never mind, Lloyd, next year the job is yours.

            If the weather continues cold for ten days more the schedule will be finished and the teams are fighting hard and eight of the nine still have a chance to win out.  Some race, we’ll say.
