FREMONT INDUSTRY SHOWS A REMARKABLE GROWTH IN FOUR YEARS

           

            A trip to Fremont one afternoon this week was some revelation to one who had not kept in close touch with the business of Fremont Button Works.

            This concern that began business about four years ago in a small way now employs over sixty people and runs a night and a day shift and the product is going into the markets of nearly a score of states.

            The best customers who three years ago were selling scarcely $100 worth of goods per week are now ordering and selling more than $350 per week.  One of the handicaps that this concern is working under is its location three miles from the depot which necessitates drayage which it is estimated will run not far below $3,000 a year in the near future.
