LITTLE SON OF GENE EWALD LOSES FINGER IN LAWN MOWER

 

            Herman, the six-year son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ewald, lost a portion of the index finger of his right hand Tuesday by getting it too close to the blade of a lawn mower which he was hauling about with the cutting side up.  Herman was amusing himself by feeding grass into the machine and poking it in with his hands.  Dr. Wood has hope that the remaining portion of the finger may be saved.
