NORTHWESTERN BUYS EBBE WAREHOUSES
Potato Warehouse, Coal Elevator and Equipment Sold for $10,500.00 Possession Given Soon
The Northwestern Produce company, popularly known as the farmers’ company, held it annual meeting on Wednesday and made a very favorable showing for the past year in the conduct of the business carried on in shipment of potatoes, lives stock and other farm products and the handling of feeds, cement, machinery and other commodities needed by the farmer. This corporation is owned by farmers and in the stock shipping enterprise is conducted along co-operative lines. Purchase Ebbe Property The stockholders voted to purchase the potato warehouse, coal house and elevator, with all equipment including a residence on Oborn street. Consideration $10,500. Mr. Ebbe will retain possession until he has disposed of cement and coal on hand and under contract, the purchasing company to take any stock on hand when contracts have been filled. Mr. Ebbe has an extensive sand and gravel business which he will enlarge before next season opens. Mr. Ebbe has for some time been desirous of being relieved of a portion of his business cares and now looks forward to an opportunity to spend the winter in Florida with is family. |
