ROAD ISSUES ULTIMATUM
Employes of the Green Bay and Western road and subsidiary lines, who went on strike must return to work by July 10 or lose all rights as former employes, according to notice posted by officials on Wednesday. The statement says the road is not involved in the controversy with the labor board, as wages have not been reduced. The road says it is an innocent victim of a condition over which it has no control and says the union erred in calling out its employes. One hundred and seventy-five employees of the Green Bay road walked out. |
