TRAFFIC CENSUS ON HIGHWAY NO. 18 SHOWS 3058 VEHICLES, 18 HOURS

            A count of vehicles passing a point on Highway No. 18 west of this city Sunday, July 29, from six o’clock a.m. to twelve o’clock p.m. taken under authority of the State Highway Commission and directed by County Highway Commissioner John Huffcut, gave the total traffic at 3,059 vehicles in eighteen hours or almost three vehicles every minute throughout the time covered in the count.

            Following is the classification of vehicles recorded at a point known as
