YELLOWSTONE TRAIL IS BEING REROUTED THROUGH HIGHWAY 95

The Yellowstone Trail is being rerouted in Wisconsin to follow state trunk highway 95, known locally as the Oshkosh road. This is a more direct route than the former trail, which was marked through Medina, Appleton, Menasha and Neenah and followed highway 15 from Appleton to Oshkosh.  The new trail directs travelers to leave highway 18 just east of Fremont and takes them into Oshkosh on No. 95 by the way of Butte des Morts, a road partly concrete.  The yellow markers are now being switched to this more direct route.
