Wisconsin Rapids to Broadcast Program From WPAH Monday Evening

 

            Monday evening, November 5th, will be radio night for Wisconsin Rapids.  On that evening the services of WPAH will be turned over to the taken from Wisconsin Rapids, the program to be arranged and under the supervision of E.R. Fitzsinger, secretary of the Chamber of Commerce of that city.  Mr. Fitzsinger is very anxious to have his city make a credible showing in comparison with the offerings recently broadcasted by the other Central Wisconsin cities, and has arranged for some splendid talks and musical numbers. The principal address will be given by Mayor Roenius of Wisconsin Rapids, while the county agricultural agent and one or two leading businessmen will give short talks. The principal musical numbers will be rendered by the Rotary Glee Club, and by an orchestra not yet selected.  The program wills tart promptly at 8:00 p.m. so be on the air and listen to WPAH.

            According to messages and letters received from all parts of the United States, the programs being broadcasted from the local station are meeting with universal approval.  During the last two weeks more than five hundred communications have been received, commenting on various numbers and performers.  Among the most popular, is Arthur Cole and his Recordograph orchestra of Milwaukee.  This organization renders the latest dance music, and is admitted to be one of the best of it’s kid in the country.
