WAUPACA COUNTY NEWS December 21, 1921
RADIO MARKET REPORTS
Broadcasting of market reports will be resumed by the state department of markets at an early date, B.B. Jones, in charge of the market news service, announces. The department’s new radio station at Waupaca will soon be in operation, he said. Four broadcasters are planned by the station, as scheduled intervals soon to be announced. The station has just applied for a license and call letters are to be assigned within a short time. The department has made no broadcasts of its marketing service for the last few months after its Madison distributing office was discontinued. It says that those interested in radio reports should write to the department of markets Waupaca, for information.
CHANGES LOCATION
The location of the U.S. Bureau of Markets, which for a number of years past has been located in the basement of the court house, was moved this week, and is now located in the Civic and Commerce Building, 118 East Union street, in the same rooms occupied by the state wireless broadcasting station. W.H. Moiser is in charge of the Bureau of Markets. |
