It was announced that for two nights this city was without water for fire prevention due in part to the accommodation that city has extended to Electric Service company in letting the company remove its generator from city pumping station forthwith. It was said during the meeting that if the city can have only one – fire protection or lights – it will be better for the city to get along without lights. |
