GROWTH OF WAUPACA CO. IN POPULATION BY DECADES SIXTY YEARS

 

            The Federal census from 1860 to 1920 inclusive gives some interesting figure relating to growth in population. The 1860 census was the first taken as ten years prior to that time or in 1850 there were few settlements and not people enough to be counted.

            Following are the figures:

                        1910                 32,782

                        1920                 34,200

            The smallest growth during any decade was that from 1910 to 1920.
