WAUPACA COUNTY NEWS January 4, 1923 A POPULAR OCHESTRA Waupaca, the home of good music, has a comparatively new musical organization that it can well be proud of – it is known as “Tom and Bob’s Orchestra,” named after its conductors, Tom and Bob Temple. From the time the new orchestra made its first appearance early this fall it has made a decided hit, and it’s services are greatly in demand. The instrumentation of the organization is as follows: Niolita Hansen Piano “Bob” Temple Saxophone “Tom” Temple Cornet Walter Morey Drums George Haebig Banjo Orville Johnson String Bass “Bob” Temple Manager The orchestra plays only for the best dances, and already a reputation has been gained that is bringing the boys many outside engagements. |
