BARNES WINS PRIZES

A.D. Appletree Barnes, proprietor of the Arctic Nursery, had a fine exhibit at the northern state fair at Chippewa Falls last week where he won 25 first premiums, 8 second and 4 third premiums.

The week previous at the state fair at Milwaukee he was awarded 20 first premiums, 18 seconds, and 10 thirds on his fine display of fruits.

At the central state fair at Marshfield, he took all the first prizes and sweepstakes on largest display and all exhibits of collections of apples, pears and plums

At the district fair at Stevens Point he repeated his success at Marshfield.

At New London district fair he won 26 first premiums and 6 seconds.

He will have a large and fine display at the Weyauwega fair this week.
