Best Western Partners With New Caterer
The Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel, Conference Center and Waterpark recently announced its partnership with Doug Schneider of Sherwood, Wis., to provide all food service for their on-premise meetings and banquets/
“We are very excited about this partnership and bringing our food service back in-house” said Deb Johnson, general manager. “This association will offer us more control over the food quality and level of service.”
Schneider was the director of food and beverage at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton for six years and its director of catering for 4-1/2 years. He was also with the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee for four years in various food and beverage capacities.
“Doug’s background in food and beverage is very strong,” Johnson said. “He has worked at some very high-end properties, and we are delighted to be partnering with him.”
A reception will be held in June for invited guests to experience the hotel’s new food service. Under Grand Seasons Catering, Schneider will also be offering off-premise catering. He can be contacted at his office at the Best Western.
In addition to overnight accommodations that include breakfast, the hotel offers meeting and banquet services, a full service health club, indoor waterpark, game room and cocktail lounge. The Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel opened in October 1988 and has been serving the community for 18 years.
