Oil Station Site Is Being Cleared of
Old Buildings
Workmen have started razing the old building formerly used as a storehouse for
wagons and buggies and later will raze the building formerly the Page Knight
wagon shop preparatory to the erection of an oil station for Wedhams Oil Co. on
corner of Fulton and Washington streets, this city.
Other Stations
Gray Czeskleba has leased the point of land at the forks of West Fulton and
North Fulton streets from Mrs. George Hanson, the owner, and proposes to erect
an oil station for Sinclair Oil Co.
It has been reported than another station might be erected on one of the
corners where Highways 18, 54 and 22 separate or at the point known as Chady’s
Corners.
Rumor has it that a party has an option on the corner of Royalton and Churchill
streets where Highway No. 18 leaves Highways 22 and 54.
