The Quality Bakery Will
Deliver Bake Goods Through City
V.A. Streblow, proprietor of the Quality Bakery, 207 North Main Street, this city, will receive one of the most modern, approved bakery delivery wagons early next week and will have a reliable man to canvass the city and deliver all kinds of bakery goods from the wagon every day.
This
plan is being successfully operated in many cities and is rapidly becoming more
popular.
At
Fond du Lac six wagons were put on one year ago and during the year the number
operated by one Fond du Lac bakery has been increased until today fourteen
wagons can not care for this feature of the company’s business and other wagons
have been ordered and will be used as soon as they are finished. In other cities the plan is working with a
similar degree of success.
These
wagons are strictly modern and sanitary and goods will be wrapped and placed in
compartments and be fully protected from dust.
The
wagon will make the rounds of the city and will stop at those places in which a
card is displayed in the window in plain view of the driver of the bakery
wagon. Before starting the wagon the
management of the bakery will distribute cards throughout the city for use of
patrons who wish to have the wagon stop.
