The Y.M.C.A. rooms have been closed for the summer. This action was taken because of the lawlessness of a certain crowd of boys who were not members of the Association, but who destroyed property and abused apparatus in the gymnasium. The finances of the Association are not sufficient to warrant the employment of a secretary and janitor who shall be present whenever the rooms are opened, and it was therefore thought best to close the rooms until next fall, when it is hoped that enough money will be raised to put the place in first class condition.
