FISH PLANTED
On Monday Hon. E.E. Browne planted 15 cans of wall-eyed pike fry in the Chain o’ Lakes. These fry were shipped from the state hatchery and transported from the depot by the Waupaca Electric Railway thru the courtesy of Irving P. Lord. Mr. Browne has also made arrangements to have 10,00 pickerel fry sent here from Gills Landing within next two weeks. The railroad companies have made rates of 10 cents per can. This fish is a native of Wisconsin waters and it is expected that they will thrive in our lakes.
