PROGRAM OF RACES AT CHAIN O’ LAKES

Boat Races to be Held on Rainbow Lake on Saturday Afternoon Commencing at 2:30

Plans are about completed for an interesting program which will be given at the lakes on the afternoon of July 4th.  Several of the energetic young men who are camping at the lakes have been busily at work for the past week securing articles which will be offered as prizes in the events which are scheduled to take place on Rainbow Lake at 2:30 o’clock on Saturday afternoon.

The following merchants and business men have very generously contributed the prizes:  Waupaca E.L. & Ry. Co., J.E. Cristy, The Fair, W.J. Hocking, A.R. Lea, Chas. R. Hoffmann, Chas. M. Hall, E.C. Williams, Arthur DeVore, Larsen Bros.

The races will begin at 2:30 sharp and the judges and scorekeepers will be stationed in a prominent position and announce each event and the prize offered thru a megaphone.
