“Streets of New York”

The Waupaca Dramatic Society will produce the above exciting five-act drama at Music Hall next week, probably Thursday evening.  The object of the play is to raise necessary funds for the Waupaca Rowing Club, something they are sadly in need of.  It is the intention of the club to join the Northwestern Rowing Association, and to do this they must have money.  The rowing clubs of Neenah, Appleton and other places are backed by large capital, but our boys have to furnish their own means.  The club also needs a double scull boat.  It is hoped that a large audience will great the “Streets of New York”, and THE REPUBLICAN does not hesitate to say that it will be the finest drama ever presented in this city.
