ALL SAINTS FEAT DAY FALLS ON FRIDAY

Catholics May Partake of Meat Tomorrow

All Catholics in America may partake of meat tomorrow, November 1. This is through the direct dispensation of the Pope, who has allowed it because All Saints Feast Day falls on Friday this year for the first time in a number of years. This dispensation is something that the predecessor of the present head of the Catholic church was seldom known to grant.

This dispensation has been made known to all bishops in this country through the Pope’s delegate at Washington and in turn to the various fathers of each bishopric.
