SPRING TERM CIRCUIT COURT OPENS MONDAY

ONLY SEVENTEEN CRIMINAL CASES –

TWENTY-THREE ISSUES FOR JURY, FOUR CASES FOR COURT

 

            The May term of circuit court will convene in this city Monday, May 3, Hon. B.B. Park presiding.

            Two petitioners for naturalization are listed which is the smallest number for several years.  They are Charles Sarmiento Thompson with Joe Kalmes and R.H. Schmidt witnesses, and Albert Louis Block with Otto L. Olen and R.H. Morris for witnesses.  The calendar is a short one and doubtless a number of these cases will be nolled, dismissed or carried over the term.
