ALLEGED WIFE MURDER A
WAUPACA BOY
Fred
M. Fish, the wealthy retired broker who shot his wife and hacked her body to
pieces with a butcher’s cleaver at their home in Evanston,
Ill., on Saturday, was a former Waupaca boy
having lived in this city about twenty-five years ago with his father who was
pastor of the First Baptist church here at that time. They went to Beaver Dam from here and later
to Chicago where he entered the University
of Chicago. Mrs. Fish’s maiden name was Mae Perrin, and
her father was a well known minister.
They were married in 1889 and had three children. Mr. Fish is supposed to be insane.
