DR. HUNT, WEYAUWEGA, ARRESTED ON CHARGE EVADING EXCISE LAWS

Monday Dr. Edward M. Hunt of Weyauwega was brought before Justice of Peace Geo. H. Nordvi on the charge of violating section 1548-0 of Wisconsin Statutes.

The complaint swore out by John Hom of this city, alleged that Dr. Hunt as physician did prescribe liquor to Roscoe C. Bliss when unnecessary for the health of such person with intent to evade or assist in evading the excise laws.

Defendant pleaded not guilty and deposited $100 cash bail for his appearance October 15h and thereafter until the case is disposed of.
