HOLD-UP IN FIRST WARD

Chas. L. Peterson Robbed of $6 While on His way Home on Tuesday Night.

Chas. L. Peterson was held up by three men Tuesday night of last week as he was on his way home, in the First ward. He was accosted by the men and ordered to hold up his hands, and was grabbed by the arms at the same time by one of the men, another caught his other arm and shoved a gun against his face. He was robbed of something over $6.00, and told to hurry on. A number of suspicious characters have been seen in the city recently and they seldom get away without leaving their record behind them.
