Our correspondent at Weyauwega, under date of May 14, sends us the following:

A prisoner by the name of Reed, charged with several robberies committed in Weyauwega some months ago, left the jail at Waupaca on Wednesday afternoon, about two o’clock. A fellow prisoner, a boy about 18 years of age was left in charge of the premises and at the time mentioned, both left for parts unknown,  The jailor, who is also under-sheriff, was absent at Weyauwega, and the matter is not without its inferences among some people.  There were strong circumstances going to show a connection with Reed and the Blanchard murder.

P.S. – Reed was retaken this morning at Royalton.
