BOLD HOLD UP

While Ray Yorkson was going home from the show last Thursday evening he met a man in front of the new school grounds a few feet ahead of him.  Just as they had passed, Yorkson received a blow on the back of his neck that knocked him senseless.

When he recovered consciousness he was lying in the gutter feeling sick, and on reaching home he found he had been relieved of $5.80.  There have been some tough looking fellows in town for the past few days.  It has been suggested that an ordinance putting vagrants to breaking rocks for stone crusher would result in less frequent visits by this class.  The practice is in vogue in cities in the southern pert of the state.
