Burglary
Last
Wednesday a man named King Young was arrested for burglary. He is about forty years old. It seems that he induced a boy named George
Wright, sixteen years old, at Fremont,
to assist him in burglarizing the store of Kinsman & Sherburn, at that
place. He threatened to shoot the boy if
he should inform any one. There was some
suspicion that the boy knew something about the affair and his mother was
induced to coax him to tell all about it, a promise being given that he should
not be harmed if he was one of the parties.
The boy turned States evidence and divulged the whole matter which led
to the arrest of Young. On examination
he was bound over to appear at next term of court, in the sum of $300.
