A petition was presented to the Council from the curling club for the privilege of erecting a covered structure for curl rink on Sessions street near the river. This location is just north of Hansen’s premises, what was once the old barrel factory. The petition was granted. This will prevent the closing of the opera house on entertainments for the winter.
