ANNUAL GOOSE SUPPER HELD TUESDAY EVENING

Attended by Members and Families of the D.D.H. Society.

The members of the D.D.H. Society gave their annual goose supper on Tuesday evening, Nov. 10, at 7:30 o’clock in celebration of the birthday anniversary of Martin Luther.  It was a very enjoyable affair and was attended by about 200.

Six long tables were set in the hall proper of the Home and one small table on the stage and the guests were served by the following young ladies gowned in white:  The Misses Florence and Jessie Nelson, Rena Peterson, Anne Ebe, Amelia Craig, Dagmar Swenson, Mesdames Carl Gabrielson and Chris Rowland.

The hall was appropriately trimmed in the Danish colors interspersed with American flags and the committee who had the management of the evening, much credit is due.

Dancing followed the supper and old and young joined in making merry, all dancing until the wee small hours of the morning.  Siebell’s full orchestra furnished the music for this pleasant occasion.
