ANDREW ANDERSON AT REST

After weeks of suffering from a complication of disorders, among which dropsy was one, Mr. Andrew Anderson of the town of Farmington passed this life last Thursday evening at 10 o’clock at his home, surrounded by members of his sorrowing family.  Deceased was born in Chicago June 13, 1855, so that at the time of his death he was fifty-three years and two months.  When a small boy his parents moved to the town of Farmington so that deceased has been a resident of that place for nearly half a century.  Mr. Anderson was a familiar figure on the streets of this city having succeeded the firm of Erickson and Anderson in the milk business which they started many years ago and which Mr. Anderson gave his personal attention from the start until about four weeks ago when he was taken with his last illness.

His widow and ten children survive to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father.  His oldest son, Oliver, and one daughter are married.  Besides his children and grand children the deceased had scores of relatives residing in this city and Farmington all of whom have kind words to say of the deceased who was cut down in the prime of life.

The funeral was held Sunday with service at one o’clock at the house and at the Farmington church at two o’clock with interment in the Farmington cemetery.

An unusually large number gathered to do honor to a respected friend and neighbor.  There were fully eighty teams that formed the procession from the residence to the church
