GOLDBERG LOSES HOME

Last Friday morning the residence of Benj. M. Goldberg of Gillette, our former well-known district attorney, was totally destroyed by fire, together with most of the contents, including a library of 1,200 volumes.

The insurance on the house was $2,000 and the contents $3,000, and Mr. Goldberg estimates his loss, above insurance at form $6,000 to $7,000.

The fire is supposed to have originated from a defective chimney flue.
