HOTEL DELEVAN CHANGES HANDS
On Friday there was a change made in the ownership of the Delevan Hotel, Messrs. Whipple and Felker buying two-thirds interest in the company, which is known as the Waupaca Hotel Co., with Mr. Van Dusen retiring. For the present the arrangements will be for Messrs. Whipple and Meyers to manage the hotel and Mr. Felker the livery business of Whipple & Felker which will continue as heretofore and running the bus line in connection with the hotel. The Delevan has been doing a large business under the successful management of Van Dusen & Meyers, and the new proprietors will maintain the high standing with the public and make it equal to any hotel in central Wisconsin. We wish the new company much prosperity and bespeak for them a continuation of the generous patronage of the citizens and traveling public.
Mr. Van Dusen is moving with his family to Prentice this week.
