CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP OF HOTEL DELEVAN

Van Dusen Sells His Interests to Whipple and Felker

On Saturday plans were perfected whereby a change was made in the proprietorship of the Hotel Delevan.  Erle Whipple and Herman Felker purchasing the stock of G.O. VanDusen, who retires from the business.  The company was incorporated some weeks ago under the name of the Waupaca Hotel Company with Myers, Van Dusen and Papineau as incorporators.

Fred Myers and G.O. Van Dusen came here a year ago from Prentice and purchased the property, which they have greatly improved, and have built up a reputation for the hotel which is a credit to Waupaca.  Mr. Myers will continue in the management of the hotel and Mr. Van Dusen will return to Prentice where he has business interests.  A bus line and livery will be run in connection with the hotel.
