            The following pleasant announcement was received from Antigo this Friday morning.

            “Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Hill announce the marriage of their daughter, Harriet A., to Mr. George Willis Dakin, Wednesday evening, October 23, 1907, Antigo, Wis.At home after Dec. 1, 342 Virginia Ave.

            It is said the wedding was a quiet but pleasant event, only the relatives and immediate friends of the contracting parties being present, after which the bride and groom quietly slipped away on the first train for Milwaukee.

            George Dakin is well known here, his father being Mr. I.M. Dakin, bookkeeper in the First National Bank.  He was with the Nelson Lumber Company about two years ago, and the past year and a half has been bookkeeper for the Kellogg Lumber co., of Antigo.  The bride is a popular and worthy young lady in her city having been one of the teachers for a number of years, her father being a pioneer business man of Antigo, and at present mayor of the city.  A new house, all furnished, awaits the bride and groom on their return.
