October 18, 1907

At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Bemis on Fifth Street, Tuesday Oct. 15th, 1907 at p.m., Mr. George H. James and Catherine E. Hambleton were quietly united in marriage; Rev. A.T. Erickson, officiating.

Mr. James has been a prominent business man in Waupaca for a number of years, at present proprietor of a prosperous furniture establishment corner of Main and Session’s street.  His bride is a very worthy lady; has been a competent book keeper and cashier in mercantile houses here for a number of years for Mr. James.  Both were former students together in the Waupaca High School and both graduated from that temple of learning.

The REPUBLICAN joins with their many friends in congratulations and best wishes.  They commenced house keeping at once in Mr. James’ residence on State Street which had recently been fitted up for the occasion.
