HAPPILY WEDDED
Anna Petronella Hole to Ralph Otto Peterson at Our Savior’s Church on Wednesday Evening
Reception at the Home of the Bride’s Parents on State Street
One of the prettiest of June weddings occurred Wednesday evening when at Our Savior’s church Miss Anna Petronella Hole, eldest daughter of Ole O. Hole was made wife of Ralph Otto Peterson, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. N.P. Peterson, Rev. A.C. Weisman of Denver, Colo., officiating. The wedding ceremonies took place at eight o’clock. Miss Sarah Ruder played the wedding march from Lobengrin. The order of the wedding march was as follows:
Ingeborg Blein and Margarett Peterson were the two charming flower bearers. The maid of honor was Miss Nellie Hole, a sister of the bride and the bridesmaids were Miss Winnie Shumway of Stevens Point and Nora Peterson of Neenah. Chas. Hall acted as best man, the groomsmen and ushers being Harry Peterson, Ben Hole and frank Stratton.
There were many besides the relatives and invited friends who comfortably filled the seats in the church to witness the ceremony.
After the ceremonies at the church there was a reception at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ole O. Hole on State Street. The lawn was charmingly decorated with Japanese lanterns. The bride and groom received their relatives and friends under a beautiful floral arch entwined with the flags of American, Norway and Denmark. The rooms were profusely decorated with June blossoms, a beautiful floral bell hanging as a pendant over the center of the dining room table.
The bride was gowned in white crepe de chine over taffeta and carried bride’s roses. The maid of honor and bridesmaids were gowned in white pean de soie and Japanese silk and carried white carnations.
Both are well known, popular and worthy young people, born and educated in this city, the bride graduating in 1901 and the groom in 1902 from our high school the later also a graduate in pharmacy and has been for two years or more at Truesdell’s.
They left on the midnight train for a brief wedding trip when they will return and take up their residence in Merrill where Mr. Peterson will have charge of the Braun drug store. They have the best wishes of all who know them.
