Negotiations have been completed whereby the ownership of the property of the Acme Brass and Metal Works passes into the hands of J.E. fuller and Associates, Rockford, Ill.

                                                            Deal Involves $60,000

The property includes all buildings on the old woolen mill site, on the Crystal River, at the east limits of the city.  The consideration, including patent rights in the Jorgenson Primer Co., totals approximately $60,000.

Mr. Fuller came to Waupaca this week, in order to superintend beginning of operations.  Already he has the men at work, making dies to be used when he begins operations.  Active operation will start in two or three weeks, Mr. Fuller advised.

                                                            Utilize All Parts

“In time I hope to utilize all the buildings on this property,” said Mr. Fuller.  “We plan to place a furnace in the foundry building, to founder gray iron, also to reopen the nickel shop foundry.  When work gets under way we will be employing 30 to 40 men.”

Mr. Fuller is using his own patents on several small articles, including a meat-processing machine which will be marketable in all meat markets, restaurants, hotels and hot dog stands.

This machine, approved by health and sanitation boards, can form the hamburger, as used in a sandwich, replacing the old palm-slapping process, so unsanitary and yet so general.  The same machine has other uses.

Some of the machinery used by the Acme firm and Jorgenson people will be utilized, although more machinery will be brought in and installed.

                                                            Outside Cash Swings It

The old woolen mill, a building over half a century old, has been used by different firms, in the manufacture of wool felt, primers, and other articles.

Mr. Fuller, supported in all his financing by outside capital, plans o move here soon with his family.
