BICYCLE COLLISION
Andy
Pantridge was going home on his wheel Wednesday evening and had the right side
of the road on Fulton Street,
as he should. When in the shadow of
electric lights in the distance and near Hotel Haven he struck a tandem wheel
owned by Sam Williams, or the tandem hit his wheel; at least both wheels hit
and there was a collision. He remembers of landing about ten feet one way and
the wheel went another. The occupants of
the tandem, Cack Cook and one of the Parish twins,
were piled in a heap but were not hurt.
The tandem did not fare quite as well for the front wheel was broken
square off. It was purely an accident
and would not have happened if they had been on the right of the Ry. Track
coming east instead of the left side. It
was awful lucky no further hurts resulted.
