DAM BREAKS

A break in the bank near the dam of the Central Lumber Company on Saturday caused the mill to shut down for three and a half days.  A force of men were put at work immediately and the damage repaired.  About 40 feet of sand and gravel was washed out and the damage is estimated at about $300.  Everything was in good condition again by Wednesday and the mill opened for work again at noon.
