ONCE UPON A TIME

TEN YEARS AGO

May 11, 1916 – Negotiations which have been pending for several weeks were finally closed Wednesday by a transfer of the stock in the Waupaca Record-Leader owned by F.J. Burckhardt to Lee I. Yorkson. Mr. Yorkson informs us that he will close the Print Shop, offer the machinery for sale, and on Monday, may 15, will be on hand and in his working clothes at the Record-Leader office. Mr. Burkhardt will remain in the city two or three weeks longer and then expects to go to California to reside. The Post joins the friends of both in wishing them success.
