Died at Dodge Center, Minn., March 8^th, 1889, from injuries received from a fall six weeks previous, Thomas Axtell aged 78 years, 4 months and 21 days. Deceased was born in Dixfield, Maine, Oct. 14^th, 1810, removed to Waupaca County in 1865, where he resided until the spring of 1884, when he moved to Washington Territory, where he lived until last Oct. he came to Dodge Centre, Minn. He leaves a wife and four children, Mrs. Peter Damon, of Ogdensburg, Wis.; Alvin T. Axtell and Mrs. H.J. Hibbard, of Washington Territory and Mrs. Mary A. Owen, of Dodge Centre, Minn. The funeral was held at the M.E. church under the order of the I.O.O.F. on Monday March 11^th.
