Waupaca Record

December 19, 1907

Wallace Brown died this morning at the Granite Hotel from alcoholism after a continuous ten days spree.  Since Monday he has been suffering with tremens.  Letters on his person revealed the fact that his home was in Green Bay and that a loving mother and sister were solicitous of his welfare.  Mayor Johnson at once notified them of his death and they have asked to have the body shipped to that city.

He was about thirty years of age and has been at work on the Waupaca Green Bay Railroad.
