Death of Mrs. O.E. Dreutzer

The Sturgeon Bay Independent is received announcing the death, while in Chicago under medical treatment, on the 20^th of Sept. Mrs. O.E. Dreutzer, wife of Gen. Dreutzer once old residents in this place.

They settled in Racine in 1842, settling afterwards in Portage and in 1850 removed to Waupaca where they remained until 1872. They raised a family of fourteen children, seven of whom are living and all married but one. Many of their old friends and neighbors in Waupaca offer their sympathy to the grief stricken husband and family.
