The body of Mrs. Ann Emmerson was brought to this city from Merrill, Wis., last Friday afternoon. Early Saturday morning a short funeral service was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McMurtry, Rev. Webster Millar officiating and the interment was made at the Mumbrue cemetery near Cedar Lake. The deceased was a resident of Lind for many years, but lately had been living with her daughters at Appleton and Merrill. She was an aunt of Mrs. Wm. McMurty of this city. Two daughters, Mrs. James Fisher and Mrs. John Rice, and their husbands accompanied the body to the place of burial.
