Death of N.H. Emmons

Nathan H. Emmons died last evening at 7:30 o’clock at  his home on North Eighteenth Street, of paralysis of the heart, after an illness of two weeks duration.  Mr. Emmons was 68 years old and leaves a widow and two daughters.  Mrs. Emmons is dangerously ill and her recovery is doubtful.  Mr. Emmons was formerly a prominent citizen of Stevens Point, Wis., also of Waupaca and has only been a resident of Lafayette about three weeks.  His death is a severe blow to the family and its members have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
