LARSON – In this city, on Tuesday July 5, John Larson aged 26 years.
The deceased was one of the three young men – brothers – who loss their mother last September and then in turn each of them suffered a run of fever. But John was the last to be taken and his case seemed more to take the nature of consumption, as he had not enjoyed good health from childhood. He worked for Mr. Chas. Evans in the store for several months previous to March and was a faithful and trusty young man.
Prayer was offered to Rev. Jacobson at the residence, on Thursday morning and the remains then taken to Pine River for burial beside the father and mother, Rev. Perry Millar conducting the service and preaching a sermon there. The two brothers have the sympathy of all in their deep affliction.
